LICENSES
We handle all applications through our desk. We will send you the applications after you have booked your hunt and we have received your deposit. All applications must be sent back to us. We feel by handling all applications and checking them over has increased our drawing average. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will accept personal checks for the licenses when you apply for the drawing, but we recommend that you send money orders or cashiers check with your application. If you are successful in the drawing, the licenses are sent directly to the outfitter (new as of 2015). If you are unsuccessful in the drawing, your money should be sent back within a few days. A $12.50 feed ground stamp and $12.50 conservation stamp are required in Wyoming for all licenses. These stamps can be purchased from Wyoming Game and Fish in Cheyenne or from any sport store throughout the State.
PREFERENCE POINTS
We can’t stress it enough to get your preference points bought and get booked early. Some hunters are booking a few years in advance for this point system to work.
If you have any questions about Preference Points and Fees, please call.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
In order to book any of the hunts on the hunt schedule a $1000.00 deposit is required up front.
The hunts will be booked on a first come first served basis. With the preference point system now in place, you should be able to obtain a license for the year you wish to book.
When you have received notification from your outfitter that you have a license, then at that time a $2000.00 2nd payment is required. Normally the elk drawing is in the first week of March.
Personal checks will be accepted for the $1000.00 deposit and $2000.00 2nd payment or for any pre-payments.
Because of Guide commitment, we are requiring final payment on hunts by August 25.
The total price for the hunt covers everything except license fees, taxidermy work, meat processing and your personal gear.
Deposits are only sent back if you are unsuccessful in any drawing or in case of death.
AIRPORTS AND TRAVEL
We will pick you up free of charge from the Jackson Hole Airport and take you to the trailhead and back. Most hunters flying into Jackson Hole will use a taxi from the airport to the Anvil Hotel, and that is where we usually meet our clients. It is always better to fly or drive in a day early and get some rest before your hunt begins.
FLIGHTS
It is always better to book your flights a few months earlier to ensure a better rate, especially if you are flying into Jackson Hole. The Jackson Hole Airport is the most convenient fly-in destination. Just make sure to start booking flights as soon as you draw your tag.
TAXIDERMY AND MEAT PROCESSING
We can suggest a good Taxidermist if need be, but we recommend you taking your trophy home if possible. Meat processing can be done in Jackson within 12 hours of your flight departure. All boxes are weighed out in 70 lb. boxes and dry iced ready for travel. Your meat will be cut exactly the way you want it and packaged for the amount of people in your family.
TIPS
All big game hunting guides have a lot of responsibility and hard work every day. They depend on tips to help make guiding worthwhile. $500 to $600 is an average tip, but if you feel your guide put out extra effort and especially if you killed a Trophy Bull Elk then you decide from there. Remember to tip the cook and wranglers! Average tip for cook – $150, wranglers – $75.
GRIZZLY BEAR PEPPER SPRAY
If you are booked on any of the Archery Hunts, we advise that you purchase a can of Pepper Spray. Rifle hunters can also have trouble with Grizzlies, but we let them decide on whether they want to make the purchase or not. Most Pepper Spray canisters with holsters cost $40-$50 and can be purchased at almost any sports store.
